For a little history, twenty years after registering the iconic white star as a trademark in 1935, Montblanc established a separate leather goods production works in Lämmerspiel near Offenbach near Frankfurt, to fabricate small luxury leather goods. Nearly 60 years later in 1992, the company acquired Karl Seeger Lederwarenfabrik GmbH to become the manufacturer of Montblanc´s collection of leather products
