Cathay Pacific has announced the opening of a new First and Business Class Lounge for passengers travelling out of Paris Charles De Gaulle (Roissy) Airport.

The lounge, located in the new connecting building between Terminal 2A and 2C on Level 2, has an area of more than 600 square metres and can seat up to 120 people.

The new Cathay Pacific First Class and Business Class facility features many of the new iconic design details employed in The Wing and The Cabin, Cathay Pacific’s award-winning lounges at Hong Kong International Airport, offering enhanced comfort and convenience for passengers departing from Paris. The new Cathay Pacific First Class and Business Class facility features many of the new iconic design details employed in The Wing and The Cabin, Cathay Pacific’s award-winning lounges at Hong Kong International Airport, offering enhanced comfort and convenience for passengers departing from Paris.

Four shower suites allow passengers to freshen up before their long-haul flight, while an IT zone features six individual workstations installed with personal computers.  Free Wi-Fi and power sockets are also available throughout the lounge.  The dining area features a self-service buffet with a wide choice of hot and cold Western and Asian dishes. The hugely popular Noodle Bar serves freshly prepared Asian noodles.

The materials used in the Cathay Pacific First Class and Business Class Paris lounge provide an atmosphere conducive to relaxation. The decor blends the warmth of wood and bamboo with the elegance of white marble and black granite.  A row of large windows bathes the room in natural light to contribute to comfort and wellbeing of passengers. The windows also provide the lounge seating area with stunning views over the airport’s ramp and runway area. Positioned opposite to the windows are five unique Cathay Solus Chairs, designed around the diverse needs of individual lounge guests to provide a place to eat, work and relax.
