Gresso, a manufacturer of exclusive and high-end mobile phones, launch a new Android based smartphone called the Radical
The Radical is housed within a solid titanium body and boasts a 4.5″ screen. Like other Gresso products in the past, the company has opted to use high quality materials. Machining the smartphone’s body is a time-consuming and labour-intensive process that takes up to nine hours to complete using high-tech equipment. The final machining and directional polishing is done manually and adds a further four hours to the process, the end result from this is a textured metal surface that is both lightweight and durable and a phone that is resistant to compression and unless you’re an abnormally strong person, difficult to bend. It is this attention to detail that have helped Gresso gain their excellent reputation for quality.
Visually, the Radical oozes class, it’s the type of phone that would make you feel very special if you took it out while wearing a sharp tailored suit and classically styled watch. Obviously it’s perfect for both ladies and gents, but when we look at it, the word ‘Bond-essque’ immediately springs to mind. It’s one of those products that is designed to make you look good.
The rear panel of the phone is constructed in matching titanium with a barely perceptible pin-stripe effect and matching Gorilla glass inserts at the top and bottom. The intense black colour of the glass is achieved by means of special tinting process. A manually polished Gresso Radical logo in titanium is engraved into the rear panel along with the individual edition number of the smartphone. For those that want something a little more individual, you can specify the Gresso Radical logo in 18k white and yellow gold. With the Radical, Gresso has also achieved a smartphone first with the implementation of titanium sensor keys.
For the more technical among you, the Radical smartphone runs on the Android 4.1.2 operating system and is equipped with powerful quad-core processor running at 1.2 GHz. Another feature is the handy 8mp camera with auto-focus, digital zoom and flashlight. One feature we particularly like (aside from the styling) is the Full HD video recording at 1920 x 1080, an opportunity for you to film all those jealous glances and gawps in full HD. The memory capacity is also more than adequate with a generous 36GB of internal memory.
The Gresso Radical is a limited edition of 999 pieces at a price of $2000 USD.
