If you only come here for the views alone, it would be worth it. In fact, even before checking into my stay on the top floor, my jaw was practically on the ground as I admired the incredible panoramic vista courtesy of the glass walled elevator.

But the Pullman London St Pancras has a lot more to offer than just that. The conveniently central location with the British Library next door and the Eurostar station next to that, it is popular with both the business and the leisure market. Replacing the former Novotel in 2012, this 16-storey tower block was the first to be rebranded as part of the Pullman Hotels chain.

The first thing that you notice about this property is the open plan lounge which is abuzz with a mix of businessmen and tourists. The space is large enough to accommodate both with a library and workspace area for the working person and a flashy bar for those wanting a relaxing drink during a break from their travels. But the contrast from day to night takes another twist as a DJ on a Friday night entertains crowds in the contemporary styled lounge and has helped elevate the hotel as a ‘go to’ venue at the start of the weekend amongst locals.

Those staying in one of the hotel’s 312 bedrooms can take full advantage of the 24 hour fitness suite including a sauna to relax those hard worked muscles. Most of the bedrooms are classed as superior and have a minimalist feel to them with fresh clean lines when it comes to décor. The rain shower in my deluxe room was particularly good.

Following a good night’s sleep, a decent breakfast is welcomed, and at The Pullman London St Pancras, it certainly did not disappoint. In fact, I was so impressed by the variety that I was disappointed I wasn’t staying an extra night. There are around 15 different types of breads alone including gluten free and a cook on hand to make your breakfast exactly how you like it. Just as well the Pullman is conveniently located as I’m sure as likely to stumble back there again along one of my many journeys in the near future.
