Located along the historic Dubai Creek in the heart of the City, Dubai Creek Harbour forms a spectacular six sq km waterfront destination, creating the “Riviera of the Middle East”. The development showcases The Tower, the recently launched architectural centerpiece of the development designed by renowned Spanish/Swiss architect Santiago Calatrava.

The development will provide over 6.79 million sq m of residential accommodation including villas, apartments and penthouses; 11.16 million sq m of retail precincts providing shops, cafes and restaurants; 851,000 sq m of commercial property and 22 hotels providing 4,400 rooms.

Dubai Creek Harbour is made of nine distinct districts, including the central Island District, within the waters of Dubai Creek, featuring a 4.5 km promenade, yacht club, world-class marina and harbour, hotels, retail and leisure facilities. The buildings within Dubai Creek Harbour are designed around the waterfront, promenades, feature canals, pedestrian piazzas and parkland and includes high-rise residential towers, medium rise retail and commercial buildings and low-rise villas.

Construction is planned to start in July 2016 with a four year construction programme.

With a design inspired by the lily and traditional minaret towers, The Tower will serve as an architectural icon, ready for the Dubai World Expo in 2020. Around a reinforced concrete core, The Tower will have a slender glass and steel façade, and will contain a boutique hotel with the 18-20 uppermost floors used for retail and tourism with shops, restaurants, function rooms, VIP observation garden decks and a spectacular main observation deck known as The Pinnacle Room. The Pinnacle Room will have fully glazed rotating balconies that extend outward, rotating outside the main skin of the tower.

There are now over 19,000 UK nationals who own property in Dubai and our City has over 850,000 tourist and business visitors from the UK each year, rising by 10% per annum since 2012.”
