The prestigious island resort has teamed up with world-famous surf company Tropicsurf, to offer surfing lessons to all ages and abilities. Tropicsurf specialise in delivering the very best surf expertise in the most stunning locations on the planet.
Whether you’re a total newbie or a ‘pro bro’, a surfing lesson set within the sparkling Indian Ocean promises to be truly unforgettable.
So how’s the surf in the Maldives? Well, Gili Lankanfushi is based in the North Male atoll where you’ll find some of the best breaks around. Beginners can hone their technique in warm, calm waters just a 10-minute boat ride from the resort. While thrill-seekers in search of a more challenging surf can travel a further 10 minutes, where they’ll reach the same famous stretch as the ‘Jails’ surf break.
Tropicsurf will operate all year round with world-renown instructors providing a personalised experience, whether that’s a lesson or a rip-roaring surf trip.
All lessons and trips are tailored to guests’ needs and available as a group or one-to-one session. They range from an hour-long beginner lesson to an all-day guided excursion.
