Watchfinder Wins Big at the 2017 WatchPro Awards in London

Watchfinder has been honoured for its excellence at the 2017 WatchPro Awards, taking home the prestigious Omnichannel Watch Retailer of the Year prize

The Ominichannel Watch Retailer of the Year celebrates the very best retailer in the business across both online and physical stores – and Watchfinder’s unrivalled online experience and unique approach to physical retail made it the standout nominee.

Watchfinder fought off some stiff competition to win the coveted trophy, with WatchPro readers unanimously voting it as the year’s greatest ahead of the likes of Beaverbrooks, Ernest Jones, Goldsmiths, Bucherer, Watches of Switzerland

Of all the finalists, Watchfinder was the only one to have started solely as an online retailer, but it now has six stores across the country: Canary Wharf, The Royal Exchange, Avery Row and Burlington Arcade in London, as well as Bluewater in Kent and Victoria Quarter in Leeds.

Watchfinder isn’t stopping there, though, and it has plans to move into Europe and beyond. It is the pre-owned watch powerhouse in the UK is the only specialist in the pre-owned watch industry with the credentials and experience to successfully head overseas.

Watchfinder has sold more than £450 million worth of watches over the past 15 years and has enjoyed a hugely successful 2017, continuing its rapid growth and massively increasing turnover.

The WatchPro award is the latest in a long line of honours for Watchfinder, which has enjoyed success with The Leap 100 and The Sunday Times’ Profit Track in 2017 for remaining one of the fastest-growing companies in the UK.

Watchfinder Director, Matt Bowling, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have won the WatchPro Omnichannel Watch Retailer of the Year award, which commends the outstanding operation we have in place at Watchfinder. Even though we started online, we’ve successfully implemented offline services to our clients to ensure complete satisfaction across the board – no matter the customer preference. We have big plans to expand across Europe and beyond and we’re looking forward to providing award-winning service to the continent.”
