Luxurious Magazine finds a quaint, home-from-home luxury boutique hotel in Spain, called Trasierra.

Trasierra is a new private hotel, which isan hour away from Seville in Spain and resides high up in the scenic Sierra Morena Mountains.

Since the Scott family acquired the property in 1978, matriarch Charlotte Scott, mother of Jackson Scott (Mano de Dios) has been restoring the private estate, outbuildings, and gardens of the family run hotel. The restored 16th Century house has been property of Charlotte Scott’s family for over 25 years.

Surrounded by three thousand acres of olive and orange groves, the hotel boasts two large pools on private terraces, a tennis court and offers activities including horse-riding, Hill Yoga and bird watching. Trasierra also has a large private house, perfect for family gatherings, wedding retreats and workshops.

Daughter Amber Scott’s Hill Yoga retreats include classes twice a day, massages and walks through the carpets of Spanish wildflowers. Son George Scott, whose Spanish roots have inspired the young entrepreneur’s company ‘Taste of Spain’, is bringing the finest Jamon Iberico to Britain.

The property also boasts delicious cuisine by Charlotte Scott’s daughter Giaconda Scott (“Paradise Kitchen”) who has worked in some of London’s finest restaurants, such as Richard Caring’s George.

As it is a private estate, it is therefore adaptable and can be transformed into three smaller private houses and cottages, which are all available for rent. Each individual room or suite is tailored to suit different tastes, and has its own particular charm.

Trasierra is discreetly in the know, with celebrity fans such as Kate Moss, Bryan Ferry and artist Damien Hirst, who designed the label of Trasierra’s renowned homemade marmalade.

For those in London, Trasierra is hosting a pop-up at Tatler’s ‘It Room’ at the Brompton Bar and Grill in Knightsbridge from 28-30th November, where owner Charlotte Scott herself will be offering bespoke hampers in time for the festive season. The hampers will include Tasierra’s own marmalade, Iberico ham, honey and other culinary delights.
