The EatFirst Ready Meals May Be The Best Money Can Buy

EatFirst, the gourmet takeaway company, is shaking up the ready meal industry with its new range launching in Ocado on 16 May 2018.

Ready meals have a stigma for being over-processed and, well, gloopy, but there’s no denying their convenience.

Well, they needn’t be such a guilty pleasure any longer because EatFirst is launching a tasty new range of gourmet microwavable meals containing the finest ingredients curated by a world-famous chef. The new chef-made ready-meal range is set to launch in Ocado on 16 May.

EatFirst is well-known for their on-demand takeaway meals which they deliver to homes and offices across the UK. Their latest foodie venture is set to revolutionise ready meals so you can enjoy that restaurant experience in your home at the ping of a microwave.

Award-winning ex-Roka chef Benn Hodges is the guru behind the concept. Benn’s culinary background includes running some of the world’s top restaurants, such as The Ivy and Roka in London.

“I started EatFirst with a mission to create the world’s finest ready meals. I personally oversee the crafting of each dish in my award-winning EatFirst kitchens.” Benn commented.

The Taste of Asia range will launch first, which includes vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. It caters to the health-conscious, too; all meals are ethically sourced and contain no artificial colours, flavours, additives or preservatives.

Benn uses unique processes and ingredients to create the meals in small batches that are hand-finished and decanted into eco-friendly packaging.

The new range – specially created for Ocado – includes Vegetable Udon Noodles, Asian BBQ Ribs, Honey Soy Chicken, Miso Glazed Salmon and Teriyaki Tofu.

EatFirst – Where and How?

EatFirst ready meals will be available on Ocado.com from 16 May 2018. Prices range from £2.99 – £12.49. Visit www.eatfirst.com to find out more.
