Light therapy facials

LED facials are still on the rise in 2018. Delivering a glowing complexion in as little as 15 minutes, they’re ideal for those living hectic lives. Which, let’s face it, is most of us.

LED facials can be used to treat all sorts of skin woes, including large pores, fine lines and uneven skin tone.

They’ve actually been around for decades, though the technology (originally pioneered by NASA) means they’re now more effective than ever.

LED facials are ideal for winter, too, as harsh weather and constant exposure to central heating can leave our skin looking dry and dull.

One such salon offering speedy, science-based treatments is The Facial Bar, near Knightsbridge. They offer speedy, futuristic facials that you can book in for on your lunch break.

The swanky salon was set up by Harley Street doctor Dr David Jack, who’s a specialist in anti-ageing and a regular to the UK and international press.

Jack comments: “The aim of The Facial Bar is to provide a service where proper, medically based facials are available at an affordable price and in a convenient, quick way.

This means people whose skin needs attention are able to get it quickly, regularly and easily (almost like a blow dry for the skin!), rather than having to spend £250 on a 90-minute facial once in a blue moon.”
