Sleeping under the stars is nothing short of magical. But from May, you can add a touch of glamour to it by sleeping aboard a ship under one of the most spectacular night skies in the world.
A first for the cruising industry, Celebrity Cruises will be paving the way by hosting the unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime glamping experience in the Galapagos Islands – and it will be hosted by none other than the first ship designed exclusively for the very same islands – Celebrity Flora.
The much-awaited experience will take place on the top deck of the luxury yacht where guests can dine, drink and yes, even sleep under one of the spectacular night skies in the world. Treated like stars under the stars, four guests per night will be able to book the top deck for the one-night adventure. The reservation includes two luxury cabanas – one fitted with a double bed for sleeping and the other for enjoying al fresco dining.
The idea behind Galapagos Glamping was created to bring guests closer than ever to each destination. And you really can’t get closer to nature than this. It’s the ultimate way to appreciate breathtaking views from dusk to dawn. What’s more, a naturalist will be on hand to highlight the stars and constellations visible from this part of the world directly from the comfort of the cabana seats.
Food is certainly not overlooked here in favour of the open skies. Alongside their stunning surroundings, the lucky guests will get to experience exclusive campfire-inspired culinary delights. Cocktails, carefully selected wines will be curated for the evening promising a memorable night. The experience will continue with a delicious dinner as part of the Galapagos Glamping experience, and after a magical night under the stars, campers will awake to a full bed-side breakfast at sunrise.

Celebrity Flora, which is one of 12 Celebrity Cruise ships offering luxury vacations visiting all seven continents, will begin her inaugural season sailing alternating 10- and 11-night tours in modern luxury. There is also the option for guests to select a 16-night itinerary— an inner loop and outer loop— to the region’s most stunning locales in 2019 and 2020.
Celebrity Flora – Where and How?
