Along with the new brochure, Emerald Waterways has released a brand new itinerary, a 16-day Israel & Ancient Egypt River Cruise, travelling from Tel Aviv to Cairo, with highlights including a cruise along the Sea of Galilee, a guided tour of Jerusalem Old Town, a visit to Ramesses II and Nefertari Temples along with a home-hosted dinner with a local family in Cairo!

Prices start from £5,420 per person (based on a 13 September 2020 departure). This itinerary includes a four-night river cruise along the Nile, on board the MS Hamees and 11-nights in specially selected world-class hotels.

  • The 10-day Cairo & Ancient Egypt River Cruise departing from Cairo, sailing on the Nile for four-nights before disembarking and flying to Abu Simbel then returning to Cairo for the flight home. Starting from £3,370 per person (based on a 19 September 2020 departure), the itinerary includes a galabeya party on board, a cruise to Dendera with a visit to the Hathor Temple, a boat tour on the Nile in Aswan and a visit to the Great Pyramids and Sphinx.
  • The 15-day Cairo to Amman tour & Ancient Egypt River Cruise departing from Cairo, sailing on the Nile for four-nights before disembarking and saying goodbye to Cairo then flying to Amman and exploring Petra and the Dead Sea. Starting from £4,920 per person (based on a 19 September 2020 departure), the itinerary includes a tour of the vast open-air temple of Karnak, a city tour of Amman, a jeep adventure in Wadi Rum, a home-hosted dinner with a local Jordanian family, a walk through a local market with lunch and a visit to the Ruins of Jerash.
