Naim Audio, Salisbury-based British manufacturer of high-end audio equipment, today unveiled the latest addition to its award-winning Uniti range. The UnitiLite is a slimline version of Naim’s original all-in-one audio player, NaimUniti. Featuring high-resolution digital streaming, a CD player, internet radio, iPod/iPhone/MP3 connectivity and digital inputs for sources such as games consoles and set top boxes, the UnitiLite embodies the technical advancements and performance that have made Naim a globally renowned brand. Launching with a more accessible price, the UnitiLite introduces Naim’s ‘as-live’ music experience to a wider audience.

Streaming music is a fast developing trend in the audio industry and Naim Audio is a leading player in this field; creating products that offer the versatility and convenience of digital music with the breath-taking, foot-tapping sound on which the company has built its name. Naim was one of the first audio companies to embrace the technology and, as with all products in the Uniti range, the UnitiLite can stream audio from a PC, MAC or any server on the home network through a wired or wireless connection. Coupled with internet radio, which grants access to tens of thousands of internet radio stations, the UnitiLite is a hi-fi unit perfect for this tech-savvy generation. The UnitiLite has a recommended retail price of £1,650 (£1,895 with optional FM/DAB tuner) and will be available to purchase from one of Naim’s premium independent retailers from mid-October.
