Kateryna Shalkina, famous ukrainian ballet dancer, is the new Saint Honore ambassador of charm.
Having fallen under the spell of Kateryna’s artistic grace and sensibility, Saint Honore could not have wished for a better ambassador than this leading ballerina to represent its famous Opéra line, an infinitely precious creation. At the recent Baselworld fair, Saint Honore was delighted to receive a visit from Kateryna who posed for a photo shoot at the stand, revealing her naturally graceful and elegant qualities.
Kateryna Shalkina, an internationally acclaimed dancer, and Saint Honore have been brought together by a shared passion. The principal dancer and the watchmaking brand are united by their shared values of excellence, performance and elegance. “Becoming a principal dancer is the summit of a long and difficult journey, just like the creation of a fine timepiece,” Kateryna told us during her visit to Basel. Obsessed with dance from a very young age, Kateryna has never faltered on her career path. With her training, rehearsals, performances and travel, she worked tirelessly every day to gain the supreme title of principal dancer with a famous Swiss company. As soon as the curtain falls on one performance, she is busy preparing for the next tour.
Proud to wear the Opéra watch, Kateryna was eager to enter into a new partnership with Saint Honore and is looking forward to being the international face of the brand on her many trips abroad. In 2012, her tour will take in countries such as Spain, Russia, Germany, Switzerland and France.Kateryna also tells us she is particularly impressed by the magnificent “Eclair” finish on the Opéra watch.
