South Place Hotel To Host The Wonderful Communications Christmas Toy Party In Aid Of Barts Charity
The good, the great and the glamorous will come together for fun, frolics and fundraising this Christmas with a variety of corporate organisations big and small to help raise awareness and collect brand new boxed toys to support The Wonderful Communications Christmas Toy Party in aid of Barts Charity.
Barts Charity supports five hospitals across east London, including The Royal London Hospital. They fund research, equipment and projects that will bring the most benefit to patients. Each year, they also run the Send a Smile with Santa Christmas appeal, which aims to get a Christmas present for patients staying in a hospital during the festive season.
The stylish South Place Hotel is hosting the annual Christmas charity toy party on the 30th November from 6.00pm until 9.00pm.
The boutique hotel is nestled between Moorgate and Liverpool Street and boasts 80 luxurious bedrooms with bespoke artwork by emerging, London-based artists; bathroom amenities by James Heeley; floor-to-ceiling windows and the most comfortable beds in town.
The aim of the event is to help raise awareness for the Wonderful Communications current Christmas Toy Appeal and to collect as many brand new boxed toys as possible to donate to children and their families who will be spending Christmas in The Royal London during the festive season.
All gift donations will support Barts Charity’s Send a Smile with Santa appeal, which aims to ensure every baby, child and teenager in the hospitals they support receives a gift during the festive season. Being in a hospital is never easy, but at Christmas, it can be particularly tough, especially for the youngest patients who just should be experiencing the most wonderful time of the year.

To help get the yuletide season started in the right way, complimentary drinks, canapes and a selection of sweets and treats will be served between 6.00 pm and 9.00 pm at the toy party.
There will also be opportunities for guests to meet like-minded professionals from a variety of industries and sectors whilst enjoying the sumptuous surroundings of South Place Hotel.
The annual prize raffle will be drawn on the night and the following prizes must be won.
* Dinner for two at Angler, Michelin-starred restaurant. Tasting menu with matching wines chosen by South Place Hotel Head Sommelier.
* One-night complimentary stay at South Place Hotel including breakfast for two people.
Donations raised from the cost of raffle tickets will also support the Send a Smile with Santa appeal – supporting the Children’s Play Team who provide tireless care to their patients at Christmas and all year round. Money raised will be used for what’s most needed on the wards, whether it’s new equipment or things like comfort packs or activities for patients.
