Cavallino Bianco Caorle–Venezia: Redefining Family Luxury on Italy’s Adriatic Coast

Set in the lovingly regenerated historic area of Caorle, Cavallino Bianco Caorle–Venezia promises a seamless blend of privacy, wellness, and vibrant family-friendly areas, where every detail—from child-safe bathrooms to private terraces with sweeping sea views—has been carefully considered for modern family life.

There’s something quietly magical about a place that knows exactly who it’s meant for. Rising gently from the historic sands of Caorle, just along the Venetian coast, Cavallino Bianco Caorle–Venezia is poised to redefine luxury family holidays when it opens in May 2026.

Conceived by Ralph A. Riffeser — the visionary behind the multi-award-winning Cavallino Bianco Val Gardena in the Dolomites — this new seaside retreat builds upon a legacy that has already captured hearts and international acclaim.

“For years we searched for a place reflecting the true spirit of Cavallino Bianco,” says Riffeser. “In Caorle, we found not just a landscape but a shared identity — authenticity, warmth, and hospitality that echo the values we hold dear.”

It’s here, on the regenerated site of the old Colonia Pordenone, overlooking a Blue Flag beach, that that vision takes form. The resort will feature 101 spacious suites, ranging from 46 to 118 square metres, each promising both privacy and connection. Parents and children will have their own comfortable corners, yet share the kind of space that brings families closer together.

Every suite includes a private terrace with sea views, child-friendly bathroom amenities, a fully equipped pantry, and interiors drenched in soft light and natural materials inspired by the pine forest beyond.

Outside, those five hectares of private beach are destined to become the resort’s lyrical centrepiece. Amid soft dunes scented with wild herbs and Mediterranean shrubs, families can relax in lockable cabanas, stretch out on king-sized loungers, or simply let time slow down beneath the open sky.

Within the resort itself, Riffeser’s guiding philosophy of “Family Time – Live it Now” shapes every experience. Children will find endless discovery at Lino Land — a creative haven that spans 750 square metres indoors and out, complete with workshops, theatre spaces, and colour-coded safety systems that balance freedom with attentive care. Parents, meanwhile, can retreat to calm mindfulness areas, enjoy the resort’s 4,000-square-metre wellness centre with heated pools and saunas, or seek peace in the adults-only rooftop spa, crowned by a Sky Infinity Pool overlooking the Adriatic.

Dining is equally thoughtful. Three distinct restaurants weave together shared pleasure and individual moments. The Family Restaurant captures the lively charm of a Venetian piazza — a warm, bustling space where laughter mingles with the aroma of freshly cooked fare.

Marco Polo, reserved for adults, promises an elegant sanctuary among the trees, offering uninterrupted moments of quiet indulgence. And for children, a space made entirely for them: safe, playful, and deliciously creative. Morning breakfasts stretch onto sunny terraces, while an indoor lounge bar waits for evenings of conversation.

True to Venetian tradition, the architectural design blends classical inspiration with contemporary clarity. Soft turrets, warm façades and glass-laced spaces connect the resort with its coastal setting; inside, elegance meets homely warmth through natural fibres, soft fabrics and functional design.

It’s a place made for rhythm — between parents and children, between guests and nature, between peace and play.

Riffeser is clear about one thing: Cavallino Bianco is not a commercial hotel chain. “Our model is independent,” he emphasises. “We have rejected compromise in favour of integrity — investing in quality, sustainability, and long-term durability.” That independence carries through every detail, and it shows. The resort will generate around 180 new jobs and engage local artisans, suppliers and creators, helping to build a network of genuine collaboration across the region.

The story of Cavallino Bianco began in the Dolomites, but Caorle represents its next evolution — a bridge between mountain and sea, between tradition and renewal. At its heart stands the Tree of Balanced Vacation, a gentle metaphor for harmony: its branches symbolise shared family time, personal space, experience among peers and cherished couple moments. It’s an idea simple enough to feel instinctive, yet refined enough to shape the world’s most awarded family hospitality brand.

In Caorle, Ralph A. Riffeser’s vision expands — reminding us that a true holiday isn’t a pause from life, but a way of living it more deeply.

For families seeking connection, authenticity, and the quiet joy of shared time by the sea, Cavallino Bianco Caorle–Venezia is more than a destination — it’s the beginning of another kind of togetherness.
