Celebrate The Chinese New Year Of The Dragon with Mandarin Oriental Hotels

In Hong Kong, we celebrate the Chinese New Year of the Dragon in true oriental style:

Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong has created the Golden Celebration room package. Guests can enjoy festive tasty treats and a bottle of sparkling wine, plus a daily credit of HKD500 per room or HKD1,000 per suite,  which can be spent within any of the hotel’s restaurants or on treatments in The Mandarin Spa. Rates begin from HKD4,100 + 10% service charge. This package is available between 20 and 30 January 2012 and requires a minimum two-night stay.

The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is offering a special Chinese New Year Package featuring exclusive shopping benefits and luxurious accommodation.  Rates begin at HKD4,600 per room per night.  The package includes exclusive shopping privileges from selected shops to be used in The Landmark Shopping Arcade, daily buffet breakfast for two at MO Bar, internet access, and the use of the Heat & Water facility at The Oriental Spa.  Rates are subject to 10% service charge, and the package is valid from 19 January to 5 February 2012.  Bookings must be made before 10 January 2012.

Guests booking a room at The Excelsior, Hong Kong can enjoy a colourful Chinese New Year, with the hotel’s Chinese New Year Celebration package  that includes: one night accommodation in a Superior Side Harbour View Room  with daily American buffet breakfast for two at Café on the 1st. The package also includes a HKD238 lai see dining credit at any of the hotel’s restaurants and bars, and a10% discount on any facial or body treatment at The Excelsior Fitness Centre. Supplements that range between HKD300 to HKD1,000 allow for upgrades to a Deluxe Harbour View Room, a room on the Executive Floor or a spacious Suite.

Rates begin at HKD2,288 and are subject to 10% service charge and a minimum stay of two consecutive nights. The package is valid from 21 to 29 January 2012 and all bookings must be guaranteed by credit card.

Further afield, Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta is offering the Dragon Year room package. This includes luxurious accommodation in one of the city’s most spacious rooms with late check-out until 2p.m., complimentary breakfast for two adults and two children at Cinnamon, special Chinese New Year welcome amenities, and complimentary dim sum items at the hotel’s newly renovated restaurant, Xin Hwa. There is also a 10% discount on the hotels’ restaurants and bars, and a 10% discount on massage treatments at the Fitness and Wellness Centre. The package is valid from 20 to 23 January 2012. Rates begin at IDR 1,599,000 and are exclusive of 21% government tax and service charge.
