The De Vere Beaumont Estate Could be the Perfect Half Term Break

The De Vere Beaumont Estate Could be the Ideal Half Term Break

Half term is approaching, and many of us could do with a well-earned family break. One fine property that should be on your radar is the De Vere Beaumont Estate and the good news is kids under 12 go free!

Half term is almost here and we wanted to write about somewhere the whole family could enjoy with a liberal dash of grandeur and luxury without breaking the bank. After some research, we’ve found an ideal place and it’s called the De Vere Beaumont Estate. Before anyone gets worried that it will be far too expensive, you’ll probably be surprised to hear they’re offering guests an overnight stay from £49.50 per adult and this includes breakfast!

Your stay at the De Vere Beaumont Estate won’t just be a treat for you, you’ll also be helping some very significant others. De Vere has said they will donate 10% of the value of each direct bedroom booking, including VAT, to NHS Charities Together* which supports NHS staff and volunteers caring for COVID-19 patients.

Families can enjoy a stay in one of the newly refurbished suites in the Georgian mansion house, The White House, which offers a new luxurious, relaxed, and contemporary design, while retaining the estate’s original 14th-century features, bringing the mansion house in line with De Vere’s distinctly British aesthetic. De Vere Beaumont Estate is set within 44-acres of stunning grounds which includes natural ponds, manicured gardens and unique sculptures.

Guests can bring the whole family along on their break as the hotel is also dog-friendly; for an additional cost of £30 per night, doggie guests receive a bowl, bed and delicious treats to enjoy throughout their stay.

Guests can spend an afternoon exploring the great outdoors including nearby Runnymede, where the Magna Carta was sealed in 1215, which offers walks through ancient woodland and open wildflower meadows.

The hotel is also close to a number of attractions such as Legoland, Thorpe Park and Windsor Castle. After a busy day, guests can refuel in the hotel’s 1705 Restaurant & Bar, which celebrates the best of British ingredients to produce traditional and signature dishes, and offers a well-stocked bar serving a range of wines, craft beers and classic cocktails.

De Vere’s Wellbeing at Heart programme ensures a healthy and safe stay for guests and a safe working environment for its team members. With the support of ChemEco, De Vere has carefully crafted a range of new measures, from enhancing the already meticulous deep cleaning of bedrooms and public areas to thoughtful social distancing measures inside and outside the hotels. This includes regularly sanitising public areas using jet action ‘misting’ technology which uses hard acting yet environmentally friendly solutions from ChemEco.
