The Amsterdam-based marine innovation studio Dutch Design has announced that it has entered into a partnership with PENT., a company specialising in handcrafted, luxury fitness equipment.

Born out of a shared passion for wellness and a mutual pursuit of excellence, the Dutch Design collaboration secures PENT. as the exclusive provider of tailor-made fitness products aboard all ten of Dutch Design’s inaugural vessels.

Founded by American businessman and long-time yacht owner Scott Blum and led by award-winning designer Bernd Weel, Dutch Design’s unveiling of Sea Rover earlier this year marked the debut of the world’s only wellness-first yacht.

The vessel embodies mindful living through a series of integrated onboard elements that reflect and support a lifestyle centred on health, balance, and intentional design.

With fitness serving as a central pillar of this philosophy, the spa, gym, sports court, and open-air training deck are all located prominently on the bridge of the boat rather than nestled below, thus calling for an equipment partner that is equal parts visually striking and technologically advanced.

After discovering PENT. while outfitting his personal yacht years ago, Scott immediately recognised the brand’s careful craftsmanship and performance-driven commitment as the right match for the Sea Rover project.

The result is a thoughtful partnership that brings custom, yacht-specific PENT. equipment aboard all ten Sea Rovers and extends beyond the vessels through a shared presence at leading yachting shows and notable global events, further reflecting a mutual commitment to marine innovation and elevated living.

“In PENT., we found a partner that shares our belief in the power of intentional living. The level of innovation and care that goes into their products aligns with the execution behind each Sea Rover vessel, making them a clear choice when sourcing the right fitness partner for the project,” shared Blum.

Established in 2016 and hailing from Poland, PENT. is renowned for its precision engineering and handcrafted products, each of which combines genuine leather, natural wood and stainless steel. Trusted by some of the world’s leading brands and athletes, including the likes of The Four Seasons, Marina Bay Sands Singapore, and Claridges, PENT. provides a training experience that goes beyond traditional constructs.

“We at PENT. pride ourselves on aligning with like-minded partners who strive for greatness. Dutch Design is presenting a marine concept that speaks to the rise of public interest in wellbeing and longevity, both of which are very much at the heart of the PENT. brand,” added Marcin Raczek, CEO at PENT.

Onboard Sea Rover, owners and their guests will enjoy signature PENT. pieces that have been customised for Dutch Design and fitness, specifically at sea. This will include the SCALA™ Fitness Wall Bar, BANKA™ Weight Bench, IRENA™ Manual Treadmill, VISLA™ Rowing Machine, HANIA™ Bicycles, PX50™ Pilates Reformer, LINA-SET™ Battle Rope, OCEANIA™ Dumbbell Rack, and a selection of accessories such as kettlebells, fitness balls, yoga mats, and more — all sea fastened with ample storage capabilities aboard and custom-designed to suit the Sea Rover space.

Each item has been hand-selected by Blum and Weel to inspire consistent wellness habits at sea, all while complementing the vessel’s California-inspired palette of natural, earthy tones.
