Renowned for its historic architecture and modern luxury, Flemings Mayfair continues to stand as a beacon of distinction, honoured once again with the Michelin Key for excellence.
At the illustrious Michelin Guide Global Hotels Ceremony 2025 in Paris, Flemings Mayfair proudly upheld its coveted One Michelin Key distinction, reaffirming its status as one of the world’s premier luxury hotels.
Henrik Muehle, the hotel’s Managing Director, accepted the award at the spectacular event held at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, a fitting stage for this celebrated institution.
The Michelin Key accolade, launched in 2024, honours hotels that transcend the ordinary to offer guests an authentic sense of place highlighted by impeccable design, outstanding service, individuality, and a deep connection to their locale. Being awarded one key signifies a sublime balance of comfort, luxury and memorable experience, placing Flemings Mayfair firmly among Britain’s elite hotel destinations.
Flemings Mayfair’s story is steeped in history. Established in 1851 by Robert Fleming during London’s Great Exhibition, the hotel rose to meet the needs of over six million visitors drawn to the city.

Originally a lodging house at 10 Half Moon Street, it evolved quickly into a ‘private hotel’ serving London’s aristocracy and gentry. Today, it comprises thirteen exquisite Georgian townhouses dating back to the 18th century, blending period charm with modern refinement.
Remaining privately owned by the same family for nearly half a century, Flemings Mayfair is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and Historic Hotels Worldwide. Its 129 rooms and suites, some featuring private terraces, showcase a harmonious blend of Art Deco style and Georgian heritage—offering guests an elegant sanctuary minutes from landmarks like Green Park and Buckingham Palace.
Managing Director Henrik Muehle reflected on the accolade: “To have our dedication to exceptional hospitality recognised once again by the Michelin Guide fills me with pride. Alongside Ormer Mayfair’s Michelin Star, this honour celebrates the passion of our entire team in crafting unforgettable memories for each guest. We are committed to preserving Flemings’ rich legacy while continuously elevating the guest experience.”
Featuring the acclaimed Ormer Mayfair restaurant and the intimate Manetta’s bar, the hotel remains a cherished pillar of London’s luxury scene.
With room rates starting from £395 per night, Flemings Mayfair continues to invite discerning travellers to immerse themselves in a historic yet contemporary Mayfair gem.
