Genesis Motor UK has revealed the prices for its G70 saloon and GV70 SUV, which should have some other luxury car manufacturers, who, it could be said, have taken things a little for granted, looking worryingly over their shoulders.
Genesis Motor UK has revealed the full price list for its gorgeous looking G70 saloon with its Superman-crest-shaped front grille (below) and its G70 SUV. The good news is that Genesis has put luxury motoring within reach of many more drivers with excellent, well-thought-out pricing, coupled with a superb servicing and ownership experience.
Genesis is not looking to re-invent the wheel as such, more so introduce an enticing package of great looking vehicles, attractive pricing, coupled with service and support levels that others manufacturers will find difficult to match. The result of this should make many new car buyers scratch their heads and wonder why the overall cost of ownership is considerably more for other manufacturers inferior-styled models in the same sector.
How much do they cost? The sleek-looking G70 Saloon will start at £33,850.00 on the road, while the more muscular GV70 SUV (below) prices start from £39,450.00 on the road. The G70 and the GV70 will join the already launched G80 and GV80, bringing the total number of Genesis models available in the UK from September to four.
The G70 Saloon and the GV70 SUV are superb looking cars and boast a distinctive, sporty exterior with Parabolic lines that add an elegant touch over the surfaces. In addition to the gorgeous looks, they’re also class leaders when it comes to safety, with cutting-edge technology as standard on both models.
Another of the major selling points when it comes to Genesis is their ‘above and beyond’ levels of customer service, which are delivered by a Genesis personal assistant who’ll be on hand to guide customers throughout the whole of the buying and ownership experience.
Customer service is a huge part of the Genesis experience. Gone of the days when you’ll have to visit a dealership; Genesis takes care of it all thanks to their home pick-up and delivery service at every step. In addition to this, their vehicles benefit from a five-year care plan, which means five years of hassle-free motoring with no hidden extras. This package also includes servicing, roadside assistance, warranty, mapping and over-the-air software and even the use of a courtesy car.

Earlier this summer, Genesis officially launched into Europe, which is known as the home of premium luxury cars. Regular readers will no doubt have seen our recent feature on the unveiling of the GV60, the first model built using the brand’s all-electric platform. Although we weren’t blown away by its looks, if Genesis makes the entry-level pricing as attractive as it has done on G70 and GV70 models, it too will be a sure-fire winner.
Customers can place orders for the G70 and GV70 from the 1st of September, with orders being taken now for the G80 and GV80 SUV. There will also be a G70 Shooting Brake version coming to the UK soon, and later this year will see the introduction of the electrified G80 followed by the all-electric vehicles.
