This December, Heura are installing a vegan Christmas Sandwich pop-up in London’s Charing Cross Road. Heura’s Christmas Sandwich pop-up will not only be spreading some cheer, it will also be spreading vegan mayo on 5,000 planet-conscious Christmas sarnies, all of which will be given away free!
The Heura Christmas Sandwich pop-up will be a very special festive feast that brings together the classic flavours of a Christmas dinner in a way that’s better for the earth.
Imagine tucking into rosemary & thyme Heura’ turkey’ seared in extra virgin olive oil and layered with tangy cranberry-infused vegan mayo, herby Parmentier potatoes mixed with Heura’ sausage’, before being sprinkled with crispy onions, pickled red cabbage and topped off with rich mushroom gravy.
To avoid any disappointment, all you need to do is be towards the front of what could be a lengthy queue to ensure you get one before they run out!
The bright yellow pop-up will bring the Mediterranean sunshine to the streets of London, inviting everyone to tuck into the UK’s favourite festive treat with a twist. For each sandwich unwrapped, hungry diners save 0.51kg of CO2 emissions, 506L of water, 1.32m2 of land and 0.45kg of cereals and soy, with six chickens and one pig saved for every 100 sandwiches given away.
