Hotel Santa Caterina has opened its third dining destination, Senzafine, a Mediterranean grill with a sushi bar, which is the first of its kind on the Amalfi Coast.
Hotel Santa Caterina – the grand dame of the Amalfi Coast – has officially opened the doors to Senzafine, a brand-new rooftop restaurant with spectacular views across Amalfi Bay.
Translating to “endless”, Senzafine is aptly named – the panorama from its rooftop stretches infinitely, from the sweeping curves of the Amalfi coastline to the shimmering Tyrrhenian Sea. But it’s not just the view that will draw guests here.
Under the direction of Executive Chef Giuseppe Stanzione, Senzafine introduces a Mediterranean grill concept unlike anything else along the coast, paired with a dedicated sushi bar—the first of its kind in the region. The menu combines the rich traditions of coastal Italian cuisine with the finesse and precision of worldwide culinary artistry.
Fresh seafood, locally sourced meats, and locally grown sun-ripened produce are grilled over an open flame, while hand-rolled sushi offers a lighter counterpart with a focus on freshness and flavour.
Some of the menu highlights are Amberjack Carpaccio with Citrus in ‘Dolce Forte’ from Santa Caterina’s garden and Mediterranean Ponzu with Seaweed Fritter, as well as Glazed Wagyu A4 Kagoshima “Pizzaiola Style”.
Designed with a modern coastal style that still feels unmistakably Italian, the rooftop space is as stylish as it is scenic. Restaurant goers can expect candlelit dinners, perfectly paired wines, and a menu that captures the spirit of summer by the sea.
The open-kitchen concept promises a beautiful and refined atmosphere, and the open-air terrace, situated alongside the rooftop restaurant with an impressive cliffside backdrop, will be the perfect spot for a pre-dinner aperitivo.
As with everything at Hotel Santa Caterina, Senzafine is underpinned by heart, heritage, and hospitality. Already renowned for its Michelin-starred restaurant, Glicine, and relaxed oceanfront favourite, Al Mare, this latest addition reinforces the hotel’s reputation as one of the most sought-after culinary destinations on the Amalfi Coast.
Senzafine will be open from Wednesday to Sunday, 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The restaurant will be available to both hotel guests and non-guests. For more information or to book, please contact [email protected].
