London’s Islington Square neighbourhood has gotten a rather smart new addition. It’s called Citadines Islington London and is an Apart’hotel offering 108 stylish serviced residences within a very convenient part of the capital.
Citadines Islington London occupies a beautiful Edwardian building within the new Islington Square development. Formerly a Royal Mail sorting office, it now features 108 residences divided into four stylish apartment types. Each of the apartments is designed to appeal to modern independent travellers and draws upon the local areas colourful heritage.
What’s inside the apartments?
The apartments at the Citadines Islington London have a living area with ample space to relax and a flat-screen TV with Chromecast. They also benefit from a fully-equipped kitchen and a separate bedroom and bathroom.
The apartments have been designed to make guests work-life simple as they come with a dedicated work area, a desk and the addition of unlimited free WiFi.
Citadines Islington London has a fresh modern feel about it thanks to the liberal use of pastel furnishing, calming hues and statement lighting in the communal areas. The apartments have been decorated with a bespoke monochromatic wallpaper from French graphic artist Jérémie Solomon. The wallpaper takes London’s skyline as part of its inspiration along with paying homage to the building previous links to the Royal Mail.
Those who plan to stay for a longer time will be pleased to know the one-bedroom and the one-bedroom deluxe apartments have a washing machine. There’s also a launderette at the property to ease any potential worries when it comes to an important meeting or special get-together.
