The apartments have been decorated with a bespoke monochromatic wallpaper from French graphic artist Jérémie Solomon. The wallpaper takes London’s skyline as part of its inspiration along with paying homage to the building previous links to the Royal Mail.

Those who plan to stay for a longer time will be pleased to know the one-bedroom and the one-bedroom deluxe apartments have a washing machine. There’s also a launderette at the property to ease any potential worries when it comes to an important meeting or special get-together.

What to see and do
One of the major plus points with Citadines Islington London is its location. It’s just a short walk from Islington’s Upper High Street which is known for its lively atmosphere, quirky shops and great places to socialise. If you are a fan of healthy food, OMNOM, the plant-based restaurant is only a short walk away as is the ODEON Luxe & Dine. Today, the street draws people from a wide area, which was a far cry from Charles Dicken’s time when he was less complimentary about the street with his words!

If you want to take in the major sights in the local area during your stay, there are a few standouts closeby. For those who enjoy the culture and the arts, there the Sadler’s Wells Theatre and the Almeida theatre. Sports fans can pay a visit to the Emirates Stadium, home to Arsenal football club. And if you want something a little more serene and a place to gather your thoughts, London’s beautiful Regent’s canal is just a short walk away.

As we’ve mentioned earlier, one of the key selling points with the Citadines Apart’hotel’s is convenience and ease of access to places. For those intending to explore the wider area, the Angel and Highbury & Islington tube stations are only a ten-minutes walk. These stations provide easy access to the city centre, St. Pancras International station and King’s Cross.
