Part of the Church’s shoe company, the quality is exemplary with the addition of extra-knowledgable and friendly staff. They also offer a ‘finger polishing’ service for your shoes, available for free to anybody that has bought shoes from them.
If you are feeling peckish after that arduous day’s shopping or fancy a glass of wine to relax, there is the excellent Vagabond, with its collection of over 100 wines ‘on tap’, and cheese & charcuterie platters to accompany them. It made the perfect end to my tour and is a rustic gem of a bar for most occasions.
