Kate Spade shows their Spring 2015 collection in Kuala LumpurHeld in the outdoor garden of the celebrated steak restaurant Marble 8 located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Kate Spade introduced their Spring 2015 collection which included ready-to-wear and accessories to a beautiful and well turned out crowd recently.

With the theme of fresh starts and taking chances, Kate Spade’s spring season silhouettes are relaxed and elegant, with subtle athletic influences. Copped tops and midi skirts, a line dresses, shirt dresses and oversized lounge pants can be seen this spring. Colours are poppy and graphic, featuring grass green, black, white, mushroom, hyacinth, and geranium; while prints include a classic black and white stripe, dancing hearts, garden leaves, and multi floral print. Key ready to wear design details include leather panelling, scallop detailing, lady bug applique, neoprene, exterior zipper pulls, and relaxed, slightly oversized silhouettes. Madison Avenue exclusive pieces introduce floral appliques on silk and cotton.

Kate Spade’s spring seasonThe handbag collection includes new groups and refreshed novelty styles. New in novelty this season include the always conversation starting oversized heart tote, eyes and lips clutch, resin lady bug clutch, and a family of wicker pieces including a wicker frog, snail, and crab. Updated classic styles this season include the ‘Cobble Hill Luxe’ group and ‘Nylon’ group, featuring updated travel inspired styles like the ‘Cobble Hill Luxe travel Sami’ bag and ‘classic nylon international carry-on’ suitcase.
Athletic inspired details can be found in the ‘bay drive’ group with a clutch and tote made of woven plaid raffia and smooth leather in black plaid and blue plaid, as well as the ‘Esta Street’ group of neoprene bags in bright colours in four styles including a classic ‘babe’ tote and introducing the two handle ‘Irina’ bag.
