In celebration of 15 years of passionate craftsmanship, the premium Danish confectionery brand LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW has unveiled its new organic SLOW CRAFTED range, which consists of new mouthwatering flavours that include Dark Truffle and Mango Vanilla to name but two.

To mark 15 years of dedication to the cause, the confectionary brand has introduced a new slow cooked range that comprises three innovative flavours; Mango Vanilla, Caramel Date and Dark Truffle.
LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW wants people to tantalise their tastebuds with something a little different. It will be a luxury indulgence with extraordinary flavours and textures from its SLOW CRAFTED range. The new flavours are being sold in recyclable and reusable glass jars and will be available to purchase from July the 7th at lakridsbybulow.com and via select retailers.
A permanent addition to the LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW portfolio, the SLOW CRAFTED collection is based on the original recipe founder Johan Bülow cooked when the confectionery brand was first founded in Bornholm, 2007. Bülow had a dream to re-invent liquorice and spent a whole year tucked away in his mother’s kitchen, trying to perfect the ultimate recipe and elevate the sweet into a gourmet experience.
Bülow’s SLOW CRAFTED liquorice is gently cooked in an open batch for four hours, rested for 24 hours, and then kneaded by hand to create a rich caramel-like texture. Because of the long, slow, and delicate way the liquorice is made the collection has been named: SLOW CRAFTED. Using only the finest, carefully sourced organic ingredients, SLOW CRAFTED captures the authentic taste of LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW for an unrivalled taste experience loved by true liquorice connoisseurs.
With sustainability front of mind at each stage of production, LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW proudly presents the SLOW CRAFTED range in premium, recycled glass packaging. A first of its kind for LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW, the glass jars have been designed for reuse; when you’re done with the products, simply remove the labels with warm water and cleanse them in the dishwasher or soak them in warm water before reusing them for just about anything – the lids close tight, so you can bring your daily juice, smoothie or iced coffee on the go, or use them to store your homemade granola, pulses and more.
The glass jars even have functional measurements engraved, so you know just how to mix your kitchen creations.
Not only is the SLOW CRAFTED range packed sustainably, but the organic ingredient of cocoa is also ethically sourced via the Cocoa Horizons program. Still producing all liquorice products in Copenhagen, the LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW factory continues to run on 100% green energy produced by Danish windmills.
