Le Cordon Bleu London has announced a special edition of its much-anticipated annual Summer Festival, taking place on Saturday, 21st June 2025, at the institute’s campus in Bloomsbury Square. This year will mark a significant milestone: 130 years since Le Cordon Bleu’s opening, and it promises to be the most exciting to date.
The 2025 Summer Festival will honour Le Cordon Bleu’s rich legacy with interactive, practical workshops, tastings, and chef demonstrations featuring some of the biggest names in the industry, as well as the opportunity to purchase incredible global produce.
Festival-goers can enjoy live cooking demonstrations from renowned chefs, including:
- Chef Antonio Milla & Chef Francisco ‘Paco’ Jose Torrico (Barrafina)
- Executive Pastry Chef Nicolas Houchet (The Savoy Hotel)
- Chef Lieven Demeestere (Arenberg)
- Executive Pastry Chef Mark Perkins (Rosewood Hotels)
- Le Cordon Bleu Master Bakers Stephane Gliniewicz & Douglas Bond Mollitt
- Group Head Chef Flori Porja (Brindisa)
- Executive Chef Karl O’Dell (CORD by Le Cordon Bleu)
Demonstrations are included in the general admission price of £15, with limited seating available on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the day.
Hands-on culinary workshops will run throughout the day, giving guests the chance to step inside Le Cordon Bleu’s state-of-the-art teaching kitchens and learn practical techniques directly from expert chefs. The workshops are themed around the 130-year heritage, drawing inspiration from classic dishes and reinventing them towards the present.
Each focuses on a different discipline — such as pâtisserie, boulangerie, or cuisine — and reflects the skills taught in the school’s world-renowned programmes. Eighteen sessions will be taking place throughout the day, three of which focus on wine and beverages.
Workshop tickets are priced at £50, which includes general admission and all required equipment. Wine & Beverages Tasting Sessions, priced at £30, also include general entry and offer an immersive introduction to pairing and tasting guided by Le Cordon Bleu’s wine experts.
For those not participating in a workshop or tasting, General Admission is available for £15, granting access to all chef demonstrations, the Salon Gourmet tasting area, and the entire festival experience.
The return of the ever-popular Salon Gourmet Tasting Area, located on the fourth floor, where guests can discover, sample, and purchase exceptional products from a curated selection of premium brands.
This year’s highlights include the Maison Louis Latour wine bar, offering a taste of exquisite French vintages; Brindisi, featuring the bold flavours of Spanish charcuterie and tapas; Julienne Bruno, known for its innovative plant-based creations; and the Peruvian Embassy Pisco Bar, serving cocktails that celebrate Peru’s iconic spirit.
More exciting producers and global flavours will be announced soon. Guests will also receive a “Gourmet Passport” to mark off each international tasting station, celebrating Le Cordon Bleu’s global network of over 35 campuses worldwide.
