Made in Chelsea's Binky Felstead Visits Young Patients At Royal Brompton Hospital

Made In Chelsea star, Binky Felstead, ensured it was all smiles, happiness and full of Christmas cheer whilst visiting some very brave children and young people on the Rose and Foulis wards at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London.

The joyous visit during the festive season was in aid of The Brompton Fountain, a charity that helps support children and their families from severe life-threatening heart and lung conditions under the care of the Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust.

The charity also organises a number of fundraising activities and appeals throughout the year which helps to raise awareness and much-needed funds to support the purchase of vital equipment, treats, toys, gifts and wishes for children and their families on the ward.

Binky was able to meet some very excited young adult Cystic fibrosis sufferers on the Foulis ward and learn more about the genetic condition affecting more than 10,800 people in the UK. During the visits, Binky distributed a variety of Christmas gifts, chocolates and treats to the patients which were all well received.

Trudy Nickels, Director at The Brompton Fountain, said: “We were so thrilled that Binky was able to visit a number of our younger patients on the ward recently. It meant so much to the children and their families. The special guest ward visit is brilliant and gives everyone a huge positive boost during the festive season.”
