Spain’s Iconic Marbella Club Will Reopen Its Doors on July 2nd

Spain's Iconic Marbella Club Set to Reopen on July 2nd

Many of the world’s iconic destinations are beginning to open their doors. The latest of these is Spain’s Marbella Club, the renowned luxury resort inspired by an open-air Andalusian village.

Spain’s timeless beach resort the Marbella Club is all set to reopen on the 2nd July. This boutique resort is something rather special. It’s known for its huge sub-tropical gardens and vast light-filled private rooms, villas and suites all situated just a stone’s throw from the sea.

There was a huge amount of planning by the Marbella Club’s management prior to reopening. Various measures have been put in place to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff without impacting on the resort’s Andalucian spirit which has been honed over the past 65 years.

The resort has introduced a wide range of measures including extensive cleaning and sanitising, employee and guest health screening, contactless experiences as well as restricted occupancy.

All of this and more has been implemented without sacrificing the magic which has enamoured guests from around the world over the past six+ decades.

In readiness for its reopening, the Marbella Club has introduced some new packages which have been designed to offer peace of mind:

Private Villa at the Marbella Club

The Family Time package
This package is for families and friends who are eager to reunite after months apart. Guests can opt to check into a Villa with a private entrance, expansive grounds and contactless check-in facilities ensuring minimal interaction with others.

A dedicated Villa Host will organise everything from movie nights to cooking classes, bespoke alfresco dinners and Kids Club experiences such as animal yoga or a DIY hand sanitiser workshop for little ones. For those opting to stay in rooms or suites, interconnecting rooms offer plenty of space to spread out and indulge in newly introduced in-room experiences or even use a second room as a dedicated office for remote working.

Yoga at the Marbella Club

Restorative Getaway package
This package is a much-needed antidote to the plight of lockdown life and embodies a 360-approach to preventative health. The package offers fully personalised stays in rooms, suites and villas.

It also includes a 75-minute lifestyle and nutrition consultation, bespoke immunity talk and cooking demonstration with the resident wellness chef and naturopath nutritionist to determine need areas and provide the tools to help click reset.

Villa guests will have the opportunity to undergo a consultation pre-tip, meaning any dietary recommendations will be in the fridge upon arrival.

Daily in-room fitness activities include Yoga, Pilates or TRX while tailored in-room treatments ranging from a Thalasso Vichy exfoliation and underwater massage to Tibetan singing bowl meditation will help ease guests out of lockdown and ready to embrace their next chapter.

Dining at the Marbella Club

Distanced Dining
The Grill, Summer Bar, Beach Club and Garden Pool Bar will all reopen on the 2 July, with the Marbella Club’s iconic chiringuito, MC Beach, open for lunch from the 18 June onwards.

All of the restaurants will offer two set mealtimes to maximise on space and adhere to distancing. This will ensure the charming ambience, so loved by guests, remains. Menus will be available via QR code access and contactless payment options encouraged. Room service menus will also now include Marbella Club’s perennial favourites with usual fees waived.
