A piano under the stars, lights of the new moon, white flowers, candles and a shimmering mother-of-pearl Italian flag.
A sparkle: the Montegrappa pen for the 150th anniversary of Italian Unification. The Bassano-based company is main sponsor of the event. This is the description of the stage that in piazza San Nicola, Anacapri hosted the fourth edition of the Premio Anacapri Bruno Lauzi – Canzone d’Autore, the music award for singer-songwriters in commemoration of Bruno Lauzi. Seven finalists, seven hearts of music, seven unknown songs. The panel of judges: Gianfranco Reverberi, Mariella Nava, Edoardo Vianello, Carlo Marrale, Maurizio Lauzi, Franco Fasano, Carlo D’Angiò and journalists Rosanna Lambertucci, Alessandro Cecchi Paone, Pietro Gargano and Alberto Zeppieri. The performances by the competition participants alternated with the singers on the judging panel. RAI journalist, Andrea Vianello hosted the evening egregiously alongside the elegance of actress, Francesca Ceci.
During the evening, cameras from Uno Mattina and TG3 filmed the evening’s event, which also included the presentation of the “Premio Anacapri Penna d’Autore” award for distinguished writing to RAI journalist, Marino Bartoletti. The important award was given by Giuseppe Aquila, Montegrappa’s Chief Executive Officer, who gave the famous reporter a pen from the exclusive collection made by the Bassano firm to celebrate Italy’s anniversary. A finely crafted antique pen, ready for new courses, new navigations, new landings. A jewel with a thousand words in the heart for slow, musical writing.
Like a temptation, like an enchantment, like a distinguished original song. The Premio Anacapri Bruno Lauzi provided the opportunity to breathe in a range of refined tunes and tales together with a company that has spent one hundred years writing a story of prestige and emotion.
