BluHouse, the Italian food hall located on the ground floor of Rosewood Hong Kong, has introduced a refreshed all-day menu, alongside unveiling a meaningful social impact initiative.
The newly refreshed menu by Chef Giovanni Galeota features 17 new dishes, bringing vibrant energy to BluHouse’s signature offering. Each plate reflects Italy’s culinary richness, from casual pizza al taglio to hearty mains and classic Italian desserts, inviting guests on a flavourful tour across the country’s diverse regions.
All new dishes at BluHouse include the Pantesca (HK$198), a refreshing blend of confit bluefin tuna, French beans, cherry tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, mozzarella, and red onion — a celebration of Mediterranean simplicity. Vitello Tonnato (HK$208) features cold-roasted veal slices topped with creamy tuna, anchovy, and caper sauce — a Piedmontese classic that balances land and sea.
Four new Roman-style pizzas on the menu include Pizza Gamberi E Zucchine (HK$108 per slice), which pairs sweet king prawns with creamy burrata and zucchini on a crisp Roman-style slice. Pizza Quattro Formaggi (HK$98 per slice) brings together mozzarella, taleggio, gorgonzola, and Parmesan in a rich, molten mix.
Pizza Siciliana (HK$88) offers bold, herbaceous notes with eggplant, candied tomatoes, capers, and oregano, while Pizza Cotto e Provola (HK$98) features smoked mozzarella, butcher’s ham, and grilled artichokes. Another not-to-be-missed tasty treat is the Pizza Al “Testo”, traditional round oven-baked pizzas cooked in an iron tray.
Two new pastas on the menu include Mezze Maniche ai Frutti di Mare (HK$298), a seafood lover’s dream — featuring prawns, squid, mussels, clams, and octopus in a lobster-tomato sauce. Rigatoni alla Carbonara (HK$208) is prepared the Roman way, featuring guanciale, Pecorino Romano, and egg yolk for a creamy depth and a peppery finish.
Four newly added main courses include Oxtail Stew (Coda alla vaccinara) (HK$328), a rich, slow-braised Roman classic simmered in red wine with vegetables and a hint of dark chocolate. The Braised New Zealand Lamb Shank (Stinco di Agnello) (HK$368) is fall-apart tender, slow-cooked with tomato, herbs, and wine, and served with fingerling potatoes.
Rooted in Roman tradition, Black Cod Fish (Merluzzo alla Romana) (HK$288) is delicately braised with sweet onion, cherry tomato, raisins, and white wine. Cotoletta alla Milanese (HK$498) is a 500g breaded veal cutlet served with arugula and cherry tomato salad — a grand take on northern Italy’s iconic schnitzel, while Asparagus (Asparagi alla Griglia) (HK$98) is grilled to smoky perfection and topped with lemon zest and basil-caper mayonnaise.
Two new desserts on the menu include Pistachio & Chocolate Panna Cotta (HK$118), a creamy, pistachio-infused panna cotta with chocolate — a crowd-pleaser that’s both modern and indulgent. Rounding out the new sweets, the Romana Tart (Crostatina Ricotta e Visciole) (HK$108) is a traditional Roman treat filled with sheep’s ricotta and tangy sour cherries in a buttery crust.
Set lunch is also available at BluHouse from Monday to Friday, from 11:30 am – 4:00 pm, at HK$348 + 10% per guest, including a three-course set lunch.
A Dish that Does More: The BluPlate
Driven by a sense of purpose to foster a mutually enriching future for people and places, BluHouse is dedicated to empowering individuals across our ecosystem while embedding sustainability at the heart of our business.
A centrepiece of the menu evolution is the BluPlate dish: Gnocchetti Sardi con Gamberi e Zucchine (HK$228), a Sardinian-style pasta dish featuring broccolini purée, fennel sausage, and a gently spicy anchovy-sausage sauce. This dish represents more than exceptional flavour — it’s a vehicle for social good.
For every BluPlate ordered, HK$20 is donated to Inherited Sports, a Hong Kong-based social enterprise that empowers ethnic minority youth through sport-based career development.
Inherited Sports offers sports coach certifications and practical internships, helping youth turn their passion into sustainable futures. This initiative highlights BluHouse’s role as a bridge between the hospitality industry and positive social impact in the local Tsim Sha Tsui community.
