Get Paid to Picnic in Piper-Heidsieck’s Exclusive Champagne Garden

This summer, Piper-Heidsieck is putting a twist on a quintessentially British tradition by turning leisurely picnics into a paid gig. The first-ever paid picnic programme will see 20 lucky individuals paid £50 each to enjoy a picnic at the iconic Champagne Rooftop Garden at Coq D’Argent in London.

Running across Saturday, the 12th and Sunday, July 13th, Piper-Heidsieck’s Paid Picnickers scheme will welcome five groups of four for a one-of-a-kind dream picnic experience.

For just two hours of ‘work’, participants will be paid £50 each to sit back, relax and enjoy a picnic with three friends. And forget soggy sandwiches – Piper-Heidsieck’s Paid Picnickers will be treated to complimentary Champagne and a picnic menu curated by the team at Coq D’Argent.

Waiters will be on hand to serve the Paid Picnickers Piper-Heidsieck’s Signature Cuvée Brut, accompanied by an indulgent selection of picnic bites, including Niçoise, tabbouleh and Piemontaise salads, smoked salmon and roast beef bagels, English strawberry salad, dark chocolate brownies and fresh fruit skewers.

To accompany the finest Champagne and food, the Paid Picnickers will be able to experience panoramic views of the City of London, with blankets and rugs set up at Piper-Heidsieck’s Champagne Rooftop Garden.

For those unable to participate in the Paid Picnickers activity, rooftop picnics will be available to book at Coq D’Argent from June 27th to August 31st. Priced at £30 per person, the picnics will run Friday from 12-2 pm and Saturday – Sunday from 12 pm to 4 pm.
