Peugeot Saveurs, a brand we hold in high regard, whose products we’ve had the pleasure of experiencing, has announced that its Paris u’Select Salt & Pepper Mill Set has been awarded a prestigious Which? Best Buy scoring high in the independent consumer group’s rigorous testing.
Described by Which? as offering “pepper-grinding pedigree,” the 18cm chocolate-coloured mills were praised for their super-fine ground pepper, consistent coarse grind, and ease of use, even with wet hands. The Paris set stood out for its adjustable coarseness settings, allowing for precise seasoning at every stage of cooking.
In their verdict, Which? Wrote: “This is a wonderful salt and pepper mill set that delivers beautifully consistent fine ground spice and coarse grains, too. It’s easy to use and looks fab.”
Chris Gee, Managing Director, Peugeot Saveurs UK, commented, “We’re thrilled to see the Paris mills recognised by Which? as one of the very best. This is a proud moment for a product that represents the heart of Peugeot’s culinary expertise.”
Crafted from sustainably sourced beechwood and equipped with Peugeot’s patented u’Select grinding mechanism, the Paris mills are a staple in homes and professional kitchens worldwide. This Best Buy accolade underlines their superior performance, heritage craftsmanship, and timeless appeal.

What might surprise readers is that Peugeot has been making grinders since before it began producing cars. Its home and kitchen goods are offered through the standalone company, Peugeot Saveurs SNC, which is headquartered in eastern France.
Unlike some companies, it hasn’t needed to remind all that it is the best; instead, it has let the quality of its pepper mills, salt mills, spice mills, coffee grinders, wine accessories, and ceramic stoneware dishes do the talking. Today, the company employs more than 185 people worldwide, and it now has four distribution subsidiaries in North America, Germany, Belgium and the United Kingdom.
