Pierre Marcolini Launches Citrus Garden Ice Cream Counter for the Summer

Pierre Marcolini, the man regarded as the world’s greatest Chocolatier, has launched a Citrus Garden ice cream counter on London’s renowned Marylebone High Street.

Recently, we were very fortunate to be given the opportunity to treat our tastebuds to Pierre Marcolini’s Citrus Garden Summer Collection. It was a mouthwatering combination of chocolate, fruit and pastries and hot on the heels of this, the master chocolatier has now launched The Citrus Garden, which is an ice cream pop-up counter in the heart of London.

Given the warm weather currently being experienced in the UK and the promise of more to come, The Citrus Garden counter will undoubtedly go down a storm with Londoner’s. In addition to a customised ice cream experience, the counter will also be offering a new collection of moreish delights, including zesty citrus fruits and lots more.

Pierre Marcolini is famous for his premium cocoa beans and rare and exotic ingredients and is never shy about pushing boundaries. His creations are known for their quality and elegance. The new ice cream experience promises a wide range of high-quality flavours, along with a variety of toppings and sauces in the surroundings of an Iberian garden.

The Citrus Garden Ice Cream Counter has made things incredibly easy; the only tricky part will be choosing from all the incredible flavours. Here’s how it works:

A just dipped ice cream with chocolate running off it

Select a luxury ice lolly flavour such as Dulche de Leche, Coconut, Vanilla, Dark Chocolate, refreshing Mango or Raspberry sorbets. Once you’ve made your choice, the lolly will then be dipped in chocolate, giving it a luxury coating. Once this has been done, you then choose from Pierre’s famous Maison dark, milk or white chocolate, and for the finishing touch, add a crispy nut topping of cracked roasted hazelnuts, almonds or pistachios.

In addition to a fantastic range of ice cream flavours, the Citrus Garden Ice Cream Counter is also offering sorbet ‘Frisson’ tubs using regionally sourced milk, a touch of sugar and a dash of cream; simple yet delicious. If you’re having problems deciding, Pierre has made things a little easier by creating his recommended flavour of the season; Pistachio-Citrus.

Alternatively, you can opt for a classic such as Hazelnut-Praline, Vanilla Caramel and Rose or Pure Chocolate; we told you choosing would be the hard part!

Where to find the ice cream counter
The Citrus Garden Ice Cream Counter, replete with its glass counter and chic umbrella, is stationed right outside the iconic Pierre Marcolini boutique bringing a taste of Europe to the heart of Marylebone High Street.

Prices: 125ml ‘Frisson’ pot: £4.90 // 50ml lolly (with chocolate dip and topping): £4.90

As we mentioned at the beginning of this piece, we recently had the pleasure of sampling Pierre’s ‘The Citrus Garden’ summer collection for 2021, which contained candied fruits covered in chocolate, cakes and macaroons. If you would like to treat your tastebuds to this, the summer collection is available from the Marylebone boutique (37 Marylebone High Street, Marylebone, London W1U 4EQ) and counters in Harrods and Selfridges.
