Pomellato, the Milan based jewellery company has opened its second Chinese boutique in Shanghai.

Two years after its fortunate debut in Beijing, Milan based Pomellato has opened its second flagship store in Shanghai.

The Pomellato boutique is located in Yifeng, Shanghai, the brand-new, high-end shopping mall dedicated to cosmopolitan, sophisticated luxury brands. Set in the evocative and exclusive colonial area of Shanghai, Yifeng occupies a magnificently refurbished historic building.

The Milan-based jewellery company, was founded by Pino Rabolini in 1967 and rapidly expanded to become the fourth jeweller in Europe today. The Company mainly stands out in the jewel-making industry for having introduced the concept of ‘prêt-à-porter’ jewellery, a true revolution at the time. Jewels to wear every day, in every moment of the day, with self-assurance and elegance. Creativity, research and innovation in style based on a sound tradition of craftsmanship are the strong points underlying the success of the brand both in Italy and abroad. It is all backed by the strong originality in choice of communication formats.

As Pomellato’s CEO, Andrea Morante, confirms, “Pomellato is delighted to have found a new ‘home’ in Shanghai, one of the most dynamic and fast-moving cities in the world. We are certain that the Pomellato collections will gradually attract, convince and embrace the sophisticated ‘Shanghai ladies’ turning them into new and loyal fans of Pomellato”.

The Shanghai Pomellato boutique echoes the sophisticated style of the vast store recently inaugurated in Rodeo Drive, Los Angeles. Set on the ground floor, hosting the most celebrated brands of the Made in Italy scenario, the Pomellato boutique announces itself with ample display windows shaded by wooden lacquered sheds that protect customer privacy, while giving a glimpse of the bright, ivory-coloured interiors.
