Discover Porto Montenegro, the Hidden Jewel on the Adriatic Sea

The world-class marina at Porto Montenegro

Porto Montenegro is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful destinations in Montenegro. It’s one of those rare places that ticks all the boxes on people’s lists for somewhere to enjoy the very best life has to offer. However, if this sounds like something you want to be part of, you’ll need to be quick as just two months remain to gain citizenship by investment.

Porto Montenegro is one of the world’s great lifestyle destinations, and what’s more, it is constantly discovering ways to evolve for the better. It’s the type of place people dream of living with its 280 days of sunshine and 295km of beautiful Adriatic coastline. In addition to this, it boasts a world-class full-service marina, a wealth of luxury residences, retail and dining outlets, all located on the UNESCO Bay of Kotor.

With the deadline for completing enrolment in Montenegro’s Citizenship By Investment Programme (CBI) fast approaching 31st December 2021, Porto Montenegro offers a rare and exciting opportunity to invest in the 144 hotel-managed residences in their newest urban village, Boka Place.

Our Lady of the Rocks in Montenegro

Launched in 2019 by the Government of Montenegro, CBI not only gives foreigners the opportunity to make a legacy property investment in one of Europe’s most up-and-coming destinations, but it also grants a Montenegrin passport which allows freedom of movement for the main applicant and their family across 124 countries, including the Schengen Area, Russia and Turkey. What’s more, with the country’s planned EU accession by 2025, holders will be eligible for additional benefits.

The Montenegro programme allows investors to fast-track straight to a citizenship application without living in the country beforehand. The process is quick, with applicants able to complete enrolment within one to two months, achieve residency within three weeks, and approval of citizenship can sometimes take just six months.

All applicants to CBI are required to invest* in approved real estate projects in the country, such as Porto Montenegro’s newest urban neighbourhood, Boka Place, set to complete in 2023.

In addition to a dynamic new shopping district, the ever-growing hub of Boka Place will feature the first flagship, five-star SIRO – a hotel lifestyle experience from industry leaders, Kerzner International (global developer and operator of iconic destination resorts, Atlantis Resort and Residences and the ultra-luxury One & Only Resorts and Private Homes).

With fitness and wellness at the core of the brand, SIRO will feature 96 hotel rooms and 144 hotel-managed residences. The hotel-managed residences – housed within the buildings of Mistral, Ostro and Sirocco in Boka Place – can be secured by buyers through single or multiple investments from the new Kerzner-Managed Residence portfolio to meet the CBI minimum investment threshold.

Home to the world’s first platinum-status 450-berth marina, Porto Montenegro offers the ultimate in waterfront living for the yachting community, with tax-free fuel, 24/7 yacht assistance, 7% marine-related tax with a world-class yacht club.
