An established favourite of European golfers, the appetite to play on Portugal’s Silver Coast remains bigger than ever, with Praia D’El Rey Marriott Golf & Beach Resort reporting double-digit growth in bookings this spring compared to pre-lockdown levels in 2019.

The leading Portuguese venue has seen a swell of interest from players across the continent in recent months as it reaps the rewards of a period of continued investment in its five-star golf and lifestyle facilities.

Praia D’El Rey – which features two 18-hole championship courses, the resort’s namesake layout and West Cliffs Golf Links (below) – has enjoyed increased interest from golfers in the UK and France, with bookings for March and April also up from The Netherlands and Italy compared to three years ago.
