The arrival of the new spring menu marks a celebration of Scotland’s finest seasonal ingredients, brought to life with creative flair and a touch of theatre. From the refined elegance of the Á La Carte selection to the indulgent Five-Course Tasting Menu and the flavourful Two-Course Spring Lunchtime option, each offering captures the essence of the season.

A thoughtfully crafted vegan and vegetarian menu also ensures every guest experiences the same level of gourmet excellence.

This season’s highlights include a delicate lapsang souchong-cured sea trout to start, followed by a rich and tender Tweeddale Angus beef feather blade en croûte and a zesty lemon tart paired with rhubarb and ginger sorbet for a perfectly balanced finale.

Opulence, theatre and luxury meet at Prestonfield House, a five-star retreat set in a grand 17th-century mansion just five minutes from Edinburgh’s city centre. Surrounded by 20 acres of gardens beside Arthur’s Seat, it offers the seclusion of a country estate with city convenience.

Since the 1950s, this discreet hotel has played host to Scotland’s artistic, social and political elite.

Highlights include the destination restaurant Rhubarb, a selection of opulent private dining rooms, and the showstopping Circular Stables—an unforgettable setting for events of all sizes.

Rhubarb Restaurant is open all day every day from 12 noon – 10:00 pm (last reservation). Room rates start from £375 per room, per night and include breakfast.
