Royal Lancaster London Launches Bloomin’ Brilliant Afternoon Tea

Bloomin’ Brilliant Afternoon Tea Launches At Royal Lancaster London

London’s prestigious Royal Lancaster hotel launches a flower-themed afternoon tea just in time for the Chelsea Flower Show.

Floral fever is sweeping the nation with the iconic Chelsea Flower Show coming in May and Hyde Park’s Rose Gardens in full bloom. So the green-fingered among us (and the foodies, too) will be thrilled to hear that Royal Lancaster London is launching a flora-inspired afternoon tea.

From 2 May until June 2018, the pastry chefs will be serving up a botanical selection of sweet delicacies and savoury delights that celebrate the art of gardening.

Highlights from the menu include a freshly-picked strawberry tart with lime curd and basil, orange blossom and ginger macarons, Royal Lancaster home-smoked salmon roses, a Sunflower-seed choux bun filled with zesty Coronation chicken and plenty more to tantalize your taste buds.

Of course, no afternoon tea would be complete without scones. Both traditional and raisin scones will be served with homemade strawberry jam and clotted cream, plus a nectar-sweet orange marmalade.

To drink, there’s Moët & Chandon Brut Champagne or Impérial Rosé Champagne, as well as exquisite teas from around the world.

Bloomin’ Brilliant Afternoon Tea – Where & How

The afternoon tea will be served from 2 pm until 5.30 pm in the hotel’s Hyde Lobby Bar, located at Royal Lancaster London, Lancaster Terrace, London W2 2TY.

It’s priced at £35 per person, £45 with a glass of Moët & Chandon Brut Champagne, and £55 with a glass of Moët & Chandon Impérial Rosé Champagne.
