New Royal Suite Opens at The Intercontinental London

The Intercontinental Park Lane has just unveiled its new Royal Suite, celebrating the hotel’s location at 145 Piccadilly – the Queen’s former childhood residence.

On the eight floor, this grand space has panoramic views of the royal parks and Knightsbridge skyline and sits at the heart of a new ‘By Appointment’ collection that creates one of the largest offerings in the capital.

Four interconnecting rooms, redesigned in a matching style, can be joined to create an incredible five bedroom, five bathroom space – totalling almost 200 square metres. Add this to the hotel’s famous London Suite, a duplex apartment style area, and you get an expansive 350 square metre respite.

Dressed with timeless signature styles from Her Majesty’s early years through to the present, here you will find an opulent living area with large chandelier inspired by The Queen’s diamond collection, master bedroom with large walk-in wardrobe, a study that houses Taschen curated books, elegant dining area and ensuite bathroom. The cream Calcutta marble bathroom is replete with reclaimed antique mirrors and By Royal Appointment amenities from Penhaligon’s, the London perfumers.
