London to the Arctic Circle by Rail
This overland rail journey traverses Germany, Denmark, and Sweden, across the Arctic Circle to Norway. With nights in Cologne, Odense, Gothenburg, Oslo, Trondheim, and Bodø, this epic voyage showcases the best of the dramatic fjords and imposing mountains of the ‘Land of the Midnight Sun’.

This quaint and traditional trip is based in Wernigerode, perfect for exploring the Harz Mountains by rail. A new destination in the Tailor Made Rail collection; New Zealand has been selected as an “essential itinerary”, offering jaw-dropping landscapes, contrasting cities and unforgettable train journeys, including the world-famous TranzAlpine. The bucket list holiday includes 3-night stays in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Queenstown, with time in Kaikoura, an ideal setting with an abundance of marine life.

Last but by no means least, the final new itinerary launched by Tailor Made Rail today showcases the iconic Indian Pacific train in its 50th anniversary year. The classic journey begins in Perth before travelling over 2,700 miles to Sydney. With three nights in the isolated city of Perth to start the holiday, there is plenty of time to visit recommended attractions such as the WA Shipwrecks Museum or the island paradise of Rottnest. The 3-night journey aboard the Indian Pacific passes through Adelaide, Broken Hill, and the stunning Blue Mountains before completing in Sydney.

The suggested 9-night itinerary starts from £1,999 per person and includes six nights hotel accommodation with breakfast and a 3-night all-inclusive journey on the Indian Pacific.​
