Renowned luxury Swiss watch manufacturer Audemars Piguet organised an exclusive golf day for their VIP guests with the special appearance of Ian Poulter, one of the brand’s golf ambassadors at The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club in Hong Kong on November 28, 2011.
Ian Poulter, currently the 25th ranked golfer in the world and the defending Champion of the Hong Kong Open in coming early December, flew in a few days earlier especially to join the golf day organized by luxury watch brand Audemars Piguet. Ian shared his golf playing tips whilst playing with each flight of golfers invited to the event. Known for the brand’s strong association with golf by its sponsorship of various renowned golfers, this was yet another special opportunity for its guests made up of Hong Kong and China retailing partners and their guests as they get to meet the golf ambassador and enjoy some time together on the course.
Following the exciting afternoon, the CEO of Audemars Piguet Hong Kong and Mainland China, David von Gunten, Ian Poulter and the guests were treated to a relaxing and intimate dinner. The highlight of the evening was the prize presentation to the best gross and best nett for the golf day which were bagged by Mr. Charles McLaughlin and Mr. Huang Yong Hua respectively. Ian was also invited to share with guests his experience in playing on tour and to reveal more about his alliance with Audemars Piguet as well as his favourite Audemars Piguet watches. The guests had a wonderful time getting to meet and know the Audemars Piguet golf ambassador better.
