MASholidays, the travel and tour arm of Malaysia Airlines is once again offering the attractive Umrah & Ziarah Package under the Lambaian Kaabah banner.
The Syaaban and Ramadhan group package departure to Jeddah or Madinah in the Holy Land is up for grabs now for the travel period from 29 June 2012 – 31 July 2012.
Encoruraged by the excellent take-up of the packages in previous years, MASholidays has further improved the package and is targeting 600 pilgrims for this season. All group departures will be on the direct service MAS charter flights from Kuala Lumpur to Jeddah, Madinah and return..
As a trademark of its offerings, MASholidays maintains the practice of providing 4-star hotel accommodation to its customers. Two hotels on the list this year are Dar An-Naeem in Madinah and Dar Umm Hani in Mekkah.
Senior Manager MASholidays, Fadhilah Mustaffa said, “Jeddah has more than 1,300 mosques. There are also about a dozen museums or collections in Jeddah, with a wide variety of spiritual educational sites that pilgrims can visit. Some of these are the Jeddah Regional Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography, the Jeddah Municipal Museum, the Naseef House, the private Abdul Rauf Hasan Khalil Museum and the private Arts Heritage Museum”, she added.
Prices for the packages this year are also very attractive. Packages with accommodation for four in a room, range from between RM5,900 to RM7,350 for Syaaban and Ramadhan group departures.
Apart from that, MASholidays is providing a complete package that takes care of its customers’ convenience. It promises its customers a hassle free Umrah & Ziarah trip to ensure customers have a most fulfilling and meaningful Umrah to the Holy Land. MASholidays has also partnered with a professional ground handling team to take care of the group’s welfare while in Saudi Arabia.
Pilgrims will be thrilled to hear that a well-known motivational speaker, Ustaz Zawawi Yusof, will be leading the group departure on 29 June 2012. MASholidays will arrange for a personalised check-in service at KL International Airport for all pilgrims who purchase the Lambaian Kaabah package. Senior citizens will be assisted by a MASholidays representative who will escort the group up to the departure gate. Upon arrival at Jeddah and Madinah, a professional ‘meet and greet’ team will be arranged at the airports.

All pilgrim groups on these packages will be accompanied by a professional guide (Mutawwif) to lead the ritual activities during the trip. Taaruf sessions which are likened to an ice-breaking session will also be organized for the groups. Religious and motivational talks (tazkirah) will also be part of this package. Visits to historical places surrounding Masjidil Haram are included.
In addition, a complimentary Umrah course will be provided at the MAS Academy in Kelana Jaya, Selangor, for travellers on this journey.
