Titoni Ltd. has vowed to continue its support of the Chengdu-based Giant Panda Breeding Research Foundation. The partnership with this breeding and research Institute for Panda Bears in Sichuan began in 2009, when Titoni Ltd. adopted the Panda bear Ruirui, taking over the sponsorship from the then Swiss President while touring China. Another panda bear was adopted in 2010.
Due to its commitment to environment protection and the affection of Titoni’s CEO for Chinese culture, the famous Swiss Watch Company decided to adopt another Panda baby. The Panda baby-girl, born on August 8, 2011, was name Haidi (海蒂) after the famous Swiss novel written in the early 20th century and its main character Heidi. This commitment also aims to nourish the deep relationship between the Grenchen-based company and the city of Chengdu and its people.
