Last night – Thursday 20th February – Brewhouse & Kitchen invited the local community down to one of their 22 sites to take part in a tutored tasting of three beers from Tongerlo, a genuine Belgian Abbey brewery.

Perfect for those who want to enjoy or learn more about Belgian beer, Brewhouse & Kitchen provides delicious snacks paired specifically with each of the beers. This gave a greater understanding of beer, the brewing process, and matching beverages with food.

As the craft beer market continues to grow in popularity, Brewhouse & Kitchen hope this event with Tongerlo gave customers a preview of some of the experiences they have on offer to help customers understand more about beer.

Available only at Brewhouse & Kitchen, a two-hour-long Beer Masterclass is hosted by a beer specialist, which gives customers the opportunity to taste eight different on-site brewed beers.

This enables patrons to appreciate the differences between a number of premium craft beers that have travelled less than 20 metres from being hops and grain to being served in a glass, with some perfectly paired snacks on the side.

For the full ideal experience, this masterclass finishes with an Academy Meal; enjoy all of this from £25 per person.

Gail Bunn, Marketing Manager at Brewhouse & Kitchen, commented, “We really enjoyed our tasting experience with Tongerlo, and we loved giving the local community a chance to enjoy this event with friends and family.

Each of our sites gave customers the chance to learn more about Belgian beer, offering an entertaining experience for all and providing beer lovers with the opportunity to try new styles and expand their interests.

“For those visitors that did not manage to attend this event, they can always take part in one of Brewhouse & Kitchen’s Academy experiences, which are sure to be enjoyed by all.”
