Imagine vintage aesthetics with a soupçon of Art Deco, the exclusive Verbreuil handbag collection is unique and eminently collectable

Combining the worlds of art, design and beautiful textures, the Parisian design house of Haute Maroquinerie marries elegant sophistication with outstanding craftsmanship.

Verbreuil produces high-end bags and small leather goods made with the very finest leathers such as grained calfskin, crocodile, snakeskin and other exotic skins, and lined in the softest lambskin. Each handbag is entirely handmade in France by leatherwork experts whose attention to detail and use of fine leathers makes each piece a work of art to be treasured.

Founder Sylvie Véron Hériard-Dubreuil has a background in publishing and design, yet her biggest inspiration for Verbreuil was her passion for architecture. She decided to use only traditional leatherwork artisans who knew exactly and precisely how to stretch leather over a light wood frame. And who has the same reverence for beauty as she does.

Women who choose Verbreuil love its innovative design aesthetics, as well as its understated elegance. Quality is paramount. Each piece has been thoughtfully crafted and designed to completely compliment a woman’s silhouette. The distinct architecture of each bag is accentuated by outstanding craftsmanship and sleek minimalism. The handle on the La Gare, for example, is rounded and covered in crocodile skin to soften the bag’s sober architecture, while the side fan structure is emphasised by the use of two different and complementary types of leather.

The brand now also offers a range of small leather goods for men who prefer simplicity and refinement.

All calf-grain pieces and or grained calf with alligator pieces start at €990 with the mini Tranicq up to €3,660 for the classic La Gare model.

Precious leather pieces start at €4,350 for the mini La Gare in python and alligator, while the classic La Gare in alligator costs €22,800.
