Haddon Hall, one of Derbyshire’s finest historic houses, will be transported back to its medieval origins this winter from 5 -19 December, with an enchanting programme of festive events celebrating its heritage.

The medieval house will glow with traditional decorations, lighting and the warmth of big, open fires. The first weekend, The Tudor Group will entertain and give an atmospheric taste of Tudor life with a variety of period entertainment including dancing, singing and cooking. There will be tours during the evening and over the final weekend traditional music and carols will ring around the property as local choirs and musicians perform.

There will also be the opportunity to buy unusual Christmas presents and souvenirs from the Hall’s Gatehouse Gift Shop and seasonal refreshments from the Courtyard Pavilion and licensed restaurant in the old stable block.
