Vintage fashion is one of the magical ingredients that makes the annual Goodwood Revival (14-16 September) so thoroughly entertaining and unique.

The vast majority of Revival visitors go to great lengths to dress in appropriate period clothing reflecting the heyday of motor racing at Goodwood, from 1948 to 1966. This year, to help Revival goers achieve that authentic vintage look, Goodwood has published the Revival Guide to Dress and Style, a handy book to make getting the right look easier, even for the non-fashionistas!

From Land Girls to Hollywood starlets, and racing drivers to jitterbug jivers, the guide has more than 30 categories for both men and women to choose from. Fully illustrated with both modern and historic photographs and renderings, this 100-page style guide book is designed to give the reader all the information they might need to dress and act the part.  It even includes a handy listings section for those who are unsure where to find authentic and period fashions, with some suppliers present in the Revival Market at the event.

How to get a copy of the Revival Guide to Dress and Style

The Goodwood Revival Guide to Dress and Style will be launched in the Goodwood Shops at the Revival, located on the Richmond Lawn – home to the daily Best Dressed fashion parades – and the Motor Circuit Shop, based near the main pedestrian tunnel.
