Over recent months, it’s been a little quieter than usual at the Holland & Holland Shooting Grounds, but all this is about to change. Their excellent restaurant has reopened, and they’re offering an incentive to those booking this week.

Some of you reading this may not be as familiar as we are with the Holland & Holland offerings. Picture this, 130 acres of gorgeous countryside in Northwood, Middlesex, world-class tuition and an excellent restaurant. And it’s the restaurant which is the focus of this piece as from now, it’s now open for bookings once more.

Starting this past weekend, the Holland & Holland restaurant is now taking bookings in the restaurant for the latter part of each week, and they’re also offering shooting instruction for up to five guests per instructor.

Josh Hunter has put together a mouthwatering selection of dishes using locally sourced produce. Some of the highlights include Longhorn cattle sirloin or harissa and honey grilled halloumi steaks, marinated Isle of Wight heirloom tomatoes and in addition, a full Holland & Holland drinks list will also be available.

The drinks list was created in partnership with Wine Club Honest Grapes and includes the UK’s broadest selection of ex-estate Bordeaux from the much-vaunted Chateaux Rauzan Segla and Canon. Another reason to rejoice at the opening of the restaurant is they don’t go overboard with their drinks prices so expect to have enough change for the taxi ride home.

As champions of British produce, Holland & Holland are proud to feature some of England’s finest wines and spirits, including Wiston Estate Brut NV, Kit’s Coty Chardonnay, Curious Brew beers and a fine collection of Dalmore Single Malt Whiskies.

The incentive
A complimentary bottle of wine will be offered to those making reservations during the first week of opening and cigar lounge partner Sautter is offering every guest a complementary measure of Auchentoshan American Oak single malt and an accompanying special surprise to conclude their meal.
